We are very pleased to have Yan Cheng as our guest speaker.  Yan is an experienced derivatives structurer/quant, having worked with different asset classes including interest rates, foreign exchange and equity for various major banks. Yan has also taught financial engineering courses at City University and the University of  Hong Kong, and is now running an equity derivatives structuring desk for BBVA.  

As a practitioner and academia, Yan will discuss the career opportunities in derivative structuring and the application of financial engineering concepts in the real world. There will be a 30 minute open forum at the end, during which time you are encouraged to pose questions.
